Terms and Conditions
1. Contractual Partners, Customer Service
The business relationship between Condé Nast Germany GmbH, Oskar-von-Miller-Ring 20, 80333 Munich (hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”) and the customer (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer” or “you”) is governed exclusively by the following General Terms and Conditions in the version valid at the time of the order.
2. Conclusion of the Contract
2.1 The customer may choose from the various print and/or digital/e-paper magazine subscriptionsShop inShop and add them to their shopping cart using the corresponding button. By clicking the “Buy Now” button, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase the items in the shopping cart. Before submitting the order, the customer may change, correct, and review the information at any time.
2.2 The seller will then send the customer an automatic confirmation of receipt via email, which lists the customer’s order again and which the customer can print using the “Print” function. The automatic confirmation of receipt merely documents that the seller has received the customer’s order and does not constitute acceptance of the offer. The contract is not concluded until the seller sends a separate confirmation of acceptance; for print subscriptions, this occurs no later than upon delivery of the first issue, or in the case of e-paper/digital subscriptions, upon the customer’s ability to access the first issue.
2.3 The text of the contract will be made available to you in accordance with legal requirements; we do not retain a copy of it beyond the conclusion of the contract.
2.4 The contract is concluded in German.
2.5 Delivery and billing are handled by DPV Deutscher Pressevertrieb GmbH, Koreastraße 7, 20457 Hamburg. DPV Deutscher Pressevertrieb GmbH is considered the supplier within the meaning of the Value-Added Tax Act.
3. Special Provisions for E-Paper/Digital Subscriptions
The following additional special terms and conditions apply to e-paper/digital subscriptions:
3.1 To order e-paper or digital subscriptions, you must first register in ourShop. To register, you must provide an email address and a password of your choice. Customers can only access the digital content they have ordered using this email address and password.
3.2 Registered customersShop access digital content (for digital subscriptions, on the publication date of the respective issue of the journal) via theShop after completing the purchase (see Section 2), provided theyShop an internet connection.
3.3 The Seller shall make digital content made available for download accessible to the Customer for the duration of the contract. The Seller does not guarantee that the digital content will remain available indefinitely; the Customer is solely responsible for saving the digital content available for download to the Customer’s compatible devices (e.g., PC/laptop).
4. Subscription Term and Cancellation
Subscriptions are valid for at least the minimum termShop for the respective subscription inShop and continue indefinitely after the end of the respective minimum term, unless the subscription is canceled before the minimum term expires. After the minimum term expires, the subscription may be canceled at any time with one month’s notice. Notwithstanding the above, aShop subscription with a fixed delivery period (e.g., gift subscriptions), as described inShop , automatically ends upon delivery of the final issue in accordance with the delivery periodShop in the respective subscription description inShop , without the need for cancellation.
5. Terms and Conditions Regarding Premiums
The gift will be shipped only after the customer has paid for the subscription covering the (minimum) subscription period. Delivery is subject to availability.
6. Prices, Payment Terms
6.1 All prices include the applicable statutory value-added tax.
6.2 You may only use the payment method agreed upon and specified at the time of ordering. Payment of the purchase price is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.

Please note that we are neither willing nor obligated to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
9. Final Provisions
9.1 Contracts between the Seller and the Customer shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The statutory provisions regarding the limitation of the choice of law and the applicability of mandatory provisions—in particular those of the country in which the Customer, as a consumer, has his or her habitual residence—remain unaffected.
9.2 Even if any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain binding. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the applicable statutory provisions, if any. However, if this would result in undue hardship for either party, the Agreement shall be deemed invalid in its entirety.
End of the Terms and Conditions
Cancellation Policy for Print Subscriptions
right of withdrawal
You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), took possession of the first item.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform our customer service department (Condé Nast Customer Service, 20080 Hamburg, email: condenast@dpv.de ) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by mail or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, although this is not mandatory.
To meet the deadline for cancellation, it is sufficient for you to send notification of your intention to cancel before the cancellation period expires.
Consequences of the revocation
If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your cancellation of this contract. We will use the same payment method for this refund that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees in connection with this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately, and in any event no later than fourteen days from the date on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period expires. We will cover the direct costs of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if such loss is attributable to handling of the goods that goes beyond what is necessary to ascertain their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
Cancellation Policy for Digital Subscriptions

END OF THE CANCELLATION POLICY
Exclusion of the right of withdrawal:
Pursuant to Section 312g(2)(7) of the German Civil Code (BGB), the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of newspapers, periodicals, or magazines, with the exception of subscription contracts.
Notice regarding the premature expiration of the right of withdrawal:
In the case of a contract for the delivery of digital content not stored on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires prematurely pursuant to Section 356(5) of the German Civil Code (BGB) if you have expressly agreed that we may begin performing the contract before the expiration of the withdrawal period and you have confirmed your awareness that, by giving your consent to the commencement of performance of the contract, you lose your right of withdrawal.
